Position Summary:

By supporting the daily military offer management activities, the incumbent will have the opportunity to learn bid & proposal, sales, and Business Development processes at a major OEM. Networking internationally and discovering a very interactive and challenging environment. The intern will be able to join and observe senior level decision-making meetings.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Day-to-Day Activities: 90%
  • Create, collaborate, and Distribute presentation materials in support of the internal business processes
  • Organize reviews and meetings as required for internal approvals; validate Stakeholder availability
  • Maintaining RAIL for technical actions
  • Follow up actions from team
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based offer directory
  • Maintain aircraft technical data for use in the creation of technical volumes
  • Mine potential opportunities through monitoring offer sites and evaluate for possible pursuit
  • Maintain the Sales opportunity register
  • Ensure coherency between salesforce databases managed by different Airbus divisions
  • Liaise with multiple departments across Airbus divisions.
  • Other administrative tasks as required

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in, or having received, an undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university majoring in Engineering or Business or related field
  • Possess an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment
  • Carrying: able to carry documents, electronic equipment and/or supplies up to 40lbs/9kg
  • Lifting: able to lift documents, electronic equipment and/or supplies up to 40lbs/9kg.
  • Pushing / Pulling: able to push/pull items in office areas.
  • Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer.
  • Squatting / Kneeling: able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom shelves
